Common Steel Structure Beam & Column Section Types
1. Hot-Rolled H-Section Steel The most standard beam and column section. Uniform flange and web thickness, stable mechanical performance, mass-produced in factories. Ideal for main beams and columns of light and medium warehouses and workshops.

2. Welded Built-Up H-Section Customized by welding steel plates. Flange width, web height and thickness can be freely adjusted according to load requirements. Standard for heavy crane workshops, large-span warehouses and special load buildings.

3. Welded Box Column Square/rectangular hollow section welded by four steel plates. High torsional rigidity and lateral stability. Used for heavy crane workshop columns, high-rise steel buildings and large-span truss columns.

4. Channel Steel & Angle Steel Auxiliary section materials. Channel steel for wall girts, door and window frames; angle steel for bracing, tower components and secondary connections.

5. C/Z Purlin Cold-formed thin-wall section, used for roof and wall purlins. Light weight, high section efficiency, standard for enclosure support systems of all steel buildings.
